How To Create Tweeter Reading List

tweeter is great but there is one thing that makes it annoying at times; that is seeing other tweets that you don't really want to see especially one that can be too sexual and too vocal in nature.

Not so many people know that you can actually create a reading list. That is, a list of followers or those you are following that you want to read their tweets often.

This is particularly useful especially of you like reading tweets from a particular set of people due to the kind of tweets they post.

To achieve this, follow the guide below step by step.


Procedures

1. log into your tweeter account on your computer

2. Click on "Me"




3. Click on List on the left side of the pane

4. Click on Create List

 

5.  Type in your List name and give it a description. After doing this click on Save List


6. After creating List, it will appear on the left side of the Window. In my case, I made My Follower the name of the List.




7. Click on Followers or Following to select those you want to add to that newly created List. You can quickly do this by clicking link as highlighted in the image.




8. Now, start selecting those you want by clicking on the avartar icon next to "following" as shown in the image below.




9. A drop down menu would appear and then you will select "Add or Remove from List"

10. Select the newly created list and your Follower or Following would be in the list

11. Now, you can always see the tweets of those persons you have selected by going to your list anytime you click on "Me"

12. With this, you can focus on those tweets you really want to read from those you follow or those that are following you.

Twitter, Dropbox and TuneIn Radio for Android gets updates that are definitely set to give better user experience.

These are apps that are highly adored for their functions and design, however, there is always room for more improvement and enhancements.

While Dropbox and TuneIn Radio have minor adjustments, Twitter on the other hand have been given quite a big enhancement. This you would find in the New Release note which states that messages are now synced across devices. 

This means that when you read a direct message it will be marked as read across all your devices. Prior to this update, when a direct message is read on your twitter app for android on one device, it still shows as unread on other devices but with this new update, that abnormally was corrected.

Other minor adjustments to give better user experience have been made in this new update. Consequently, i suggest you head up to  your app store and get this update or click on the links below.

Popular an notable hacker in the iOS community have shared his intention to leave the iOS ecosystem for Android ecosystem. 

This tweeted as shown below.

From the tweets, you will notice that he was displeased at the way iOS 7 crashes and the level of bugs it contains even its a beta 1 version.

He also lamented the patronizing design implemented by Apple for iOS 7.

In his words iOS 7 "is the worst move Apple did in a long time"

There is a possibility that other notable developers and hackers may share the same thought as pod2g. E.g @pimskeks, @musclenerd, @ih8sn0w and others.

Although, no word from them yet, there is a huge possibility they will spill soon on either how nice or ugly iOS 7 is.

How to Enable Twitter's Two-Step Verification Login Process

In the wake of recurrent breaches of numerous Twitter accounts, Twitter have decided to initiate a two-step verification process where a user is required to fill in his or her password along with a random generated temporal code.

Once this code and password is correctly entered, user is presented with his/her page and can continue using Twitter, otherwise, access is denied even if the password is correct without the code being correct.

While this verification process isn't enabled by default, users are able to enable it by clicking on the wheel icon on the top-right side of the page and click on Settings, scroll down the page and check the box Account Security to enable this feature as shown in the images below.

With this new feature, Twitter is fighting hard to reduce or eliminate the ease at which hackers gain access to users' accounts which is a highly welcomed development.

There is a possibility that new Twitter app updates will show up soon to give users ability to also enable this two-step verification from the smartphone app.
