iOS 7 beta 2 Jailbreak Achieved

iOS 7 beta 2 Jailbreak have been achieved. Ryan Petrich posted a picture of a jailbroken iPod touch running iOS 7 beta 2 yesterday.

Although there's no much word on how he achieved this even before it was officially released but we think that the code or exploits used might have been from Joshua Hill aka @posixninja who tweeted that he would be releasing the next jailbreak all on his own but saving it for when iOS 7 would finally be released.

Also,  last week we told you that this same guy Joshua Hill, tweeted that he has something bigger than jailbreak and would be released soon. What is it that is bigger than  jailbreak?

Well yesterday, that thing was revealed which you would find out below.

The next big thing bigger than jailbreak is what Joshua Hill calls the openjailbreak.
While shedding light on the term "openjailbreak",  @posixninja says it wants to bring together all his fragmented codes and exploits into one place where it can be further developed and patched by other talented hackers like him.
Consequently, he's opening up a website where all these codes will reside and managed by him and his team.

He also shows his dislike for Redsn0w, Sn0wbreeze, iOS 6.1.3 and wants to move away from  such style.

Surely this guy is talented and we are sure he has even more pretty big things up his sleeves.
Stay tuned and glued to this website as we bring you true and concise information that you need, especially when iOS 7 jailbreak finally gets released.

Something Bigger than iOS Jailbreak On the Way

Something big is coming soon to the iOS community. This was the impression that we got from the recent tweet by one of the popular hackers out there by the name of Joshua Hill aka @p0sixninja.

He said according to his tweet as shown below that "I got a lot of amazing things coming to you soon. Think bigger than jailbreak"

We have no idea what he is really talking about, especially the phrase "think bigger than jailbreak" which is a huge topic in IOS community.

What can be bigger than Jailbreak? Bootrom Exploit for A5(X)/A6(X) devices? or something even huge? Something that will win the war between Apple and Jailbreak community for a longer period or ability to downgrade iPhone 4S and iPhone 5?

There's possibility that a bootrom exploit is in the works.
You will recall that the last bootrom exploit developed by Geohot is still at work for pre A5 devices that allow them to be jailbreakable at least tethered.

Another bootrom exploit for A5 & A6 devices would be a welcomed development. If that happens, then we are sure of getting at least a tethered jailbreak on all A5 & A6 devices running latest Apple firmware perhaps.

Until then, lets wait till @p0sixninja aka Joshua Hill finishes his work and unveil that big thing he's talking about.

iOS 6.1.3 Untethered Jailbreak

iOS 6.1.3 Untethered Jailbreak? well, consider the following.

Apple released iOS 6.1.3 to fix minor bugs and also to patch the exploits used by Evasi0n to jailbreak all iDevices running iOS 6. Consequently, many Apple device users who didn't adhere to the warning by hackers and beta testers not to update if they value their untethered jailbreak became victims.
The benefits of an untethered jailbreak on an iDevice can be over emphasized as compared to a non-jailbroken iDevice.
Although there's word that one of the popular hacker Joshua Hill aka P0sixninja is working on a potential jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3, however, it is highly unlikely that a untethered jailbreak is being developed for this minor 6.1.3 update.
According to @Pod2g, "it would be too much efforts for a minimal update. We're waiting for a major release."

However, in another tweet, pod2g stated that he's found another exploit.

In yet another tweet, the popular hacker and programmer Joshua Hill aka p0sixninja have tweeted of his ability to produce the next jailbreak. There's a strong indication that this jailbreak refer to the next iOS 7 and not iOS 6.1.3

This also suggest that brilliant hackers are already working on a potential jailbreak for the next iOS version (iOS 7) as seen in the tweet of pod2g and p0sixninja
From all indications, all hands are on deck to produce the next jailbreak for the next version of iOS and hopefully, we won't have to wait so long before we see it when Apple finally releases iOS 7 come June 2013 along with the new iPhone.

iOS 6.1.3 untethered jailbreak is therefore not coming as seen from the above statements. Furthermore, personally, I think it will be a waste of exploits. Let us wait for the next version of iOS and get a good jailbreak ready.

Stay tune for more developments and news.
